Find your fit

Are you in search of flexible work arrangements like casual, part-time, or temporary employment? Excited about taking your career to new heights within the public sector? Do you have previous experience in either administrative, arts or lecturing roles? Throughout the year, TAFE SA needs employees on a casual or short-term temporary basis. These exciting vacancies are available across various campuses and workgroups, spanning a huge range of areas within TAFE SA, including but not limited to:
  • Customer service / general clerical / administration
  • Material officer / stores
  • Bar and waiting staff
  • Kitchen hand / cashier
  • Studio assistants
  • Arts specific – front-of-house
  • Arts specific – theatre technicians (lighting, sound, vision) / stage hands
  • Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) – casual lecturing / teaching / tutoring etc

To be successfully added to the TAFE SA candidate pool you will need:

  • Possible further selection process checks relevant to the specific role

Use of temporary agency personnel

Occasionally TAFE SA uses temporary employment agencies to fill short-term vacancies. In these cases TAFE SA only uses agencies from the SA Government preferred supplier listing
