TAFE SA, in consultation with the South Australia Police (SAPOL) and Department for Correctional Services (DCS), also conducts various tests that may be required to apply to become a police officer or protective security officer.

We also offer an online short non-accredited course called Perform the Basic Functions of a Justice of the Peace. The content of this course is useful for a person who is considering applying to become a Justice of the Peace or a person who is already a Justice of the Peace and wants to refresh their knowledge and skills.
