The cost of a course depends on the number of hours nominated for each unit of competency and the rate per hour charged. There are different rates according to eligibility for government subsidies and the type of study. Indicative costs of each course can be determined on each course page. The cost indicated here will show the range of course fees payable based on units undertaken. There is no set fee for each unit as this varies according to the number of hours of tuition that is offered for the unit.
The minimum fee to complete the qualification is payable for the core units and the cheapest electives, ie, those which have the least number of hours.
The maximum fee to complete the qualification is payable for the core units and the most expensive electives, ie, those which have the most number of hours.
Students who are not eligible for any subsidies will pay the full fee rate.
Students who receive Commonwealth benefits may be eligible to pay a concession fee. No concessions are available for full fee paying students. Further details are available on the concessions page.
Students who enrol online are advised of their actual course fees when they complete their registration in classes. The fee is based on subsidies, concessions, types of study and the actual units enrolled.
Only when students complete their enrolment and pay the applicable fees, will they be entitled to attend class, sit for examinations, receive results and complete qualifications as well as use amenities and services.
