TAFE SA can only re-issue white cards that have been obtained through studies at TAFE SA.
As per SAFEWORK SA advice if you have not kept up your competencies by continuing to work in the construction industry in the past two years, your white card is not considered to be valid and you will need to enrol and complete the unit CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry. You will not be able to apply for a re-issued card.
Replacement white cards will only be issued for unit of competency completed from 1 July 2011 onwards with a photograph present.
To receive a re-issued card, you will be asked to provide verification of identification, evidence of your original studies and confirm that you have been working in the construction industry over the last 2 years.
A separate application form and fee of $30 is required for each white card replacement requested.

To receive credit transfer, a student is responsible for supplying TAFE SA an original statement of attainment from their issuing RTO or provided access to their Unique Student Identifier (USI) information.
The identical current unit of competency code (CPCWHS1001 or its predecessor CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) is required for credit transfer to be applied.
Credit transfer cannot be applied if the student is not able to supply evidence of their statement of attainment from the issuing RTO.
Showing a white card without evidence of training records (statement of attainment from issuing RTO or USI evidence) is not valid evidence to be used for credit transfer purposes.

You will need to contact the RTO where you completed your training to obtain a new card. TAFE SA cannot issue or re-issue a white card for training undertaken at another RTO.
