TAFE SA’s very own Veterinary Clinic, PETSinTuition provides students with the opportunity to practice their skills under Veterinarian supervision in our modern clinic located at our Gilles Plains campus. Our daily Veterinary clinic staff include a fully qualified experienced Veterinarian, a fully qualified experienced Veterinary Nurse and up to six trainee Veterinary Nurse students.
TAFE SA is the only provider delivering the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification in South Australia, and also has an on-campus Veterinary Clinic. It includes a fully functioning veterinary clinic with surgery, dental and radiology suite, a pathology demonstration theatre with CCTV monitors, facilities for animal holding, grooming and plenty of room to move. We are registered and open to the public for consultations and surgeries.

PETSinTuition, our student veterinary clinic at Gilles Plains campus, is ready to send our loved greyhounds into their forever homes.
The Veterinary and Applied Science Centre (VASC) at TAFE SA work together with South Australian greyhound trainers to receive retired racers and expose them to a whole new world of socialising, sights, smells and sounds. This prepares them for their new lives as pets.
Our greyhounds are cared for by our Animal Studies and Veterinary Nursing students and staff. The students learn invaluable skills about canine health and welfare and our greyhounds are very loved in return.
