Find your future as a professional actor with this Advanced Diploma. Designed to fit your lifestyle, the course begins as a four-day a week commitment. This gives you greater flexibility to work and reflect as you begin your studies; it also reduces the financial commitment. Take the time to develop your stage craft and increase your confidence as you study and grow as an actor. The workload gradually increases in intensity through the course. Become immersed in the professional world of acting in your final year so you are ready to step out into your new career on the stage or on screen.

    Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Acting) (10906NAT)
    Each year is dedicated to specific skills and outcomes. The first year focuses on personal preparation and process and is a rigorous and enlightening process of discovery. The second year focuses on performance development and consolidation. With foundation skills in place, the second year is a chance to explore and experience the demands and the power of live performance. The final year focuses on industry alignment and refinement. The final six months is dedicated to knowledge of, and initiation into, the professional arena. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 30 core units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
