This course will increase employment options within the community services industry. It will also provide pathways to further studies in community services, aged care, disability work, mental health, drug education, nursing, youth work and more. Case worker, prevention worker, home based care worker, community services worker, welfare worker, early intervention worker.

This course covers responding to client needs, communication, working with diverse people, workplace safety and managing personal stressors. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 5 core units and 7 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
