Surveying provides a varied and exciting career that has great indoor / outdoor balance, and requires design skills, measurement skills,interpersonal skills and the ability to provide analysis of evidence. As a profession, surveyors are highly respected, well paid and in constant demand. Surveyors are expert in the science of positioning and measurement.

Certificate IV in Surveying and Spatial Information Services (Surveying)

Graduates will work under limited supervision to aid in the collection, processing and presentation of data in the areas of mining, engineering, construction, hydrography, aerial mapping, geographic information systems and land surveying as survey assistants. This course acts as a pathway into the Diploma. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 3 core units plus 12 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
