Description

Take your place in the music industry with this nationally accredited diploma. Build on your existing experience to further develop your skills in performance, music theory and music technology. Develop your own instrumental or vocal potential through instrumental instruction, ensemble experience, live performance, and further develop the fundamentals with classes in music theory, aural development, rhythm and arranging.
You’ll also learn the fundamentals of the music business to help you build a successful performance career. Become an accomplished instrumentalist or vocalist and sing your own song with TAFE SA.

    This qualification is designed to develop a high level of performance and technical skills in a range of contemporary styles as well as a sound music theoretical knowledge relating to a range of aspects such as composition techniques, improvisation, music literacy, aural training and business skills. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 4 core units and 12 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
