Description

Become a qualified plumber when you undertake this nationally recognised qualification as part of your trade apprenticeship. Combine your TAFE SA study with the guidance of a licensed tradesperson at work and you’ll soon be ready for your plumber’s licence. Learn how to install and maintain water services, domestic treatment plants, sanitary fixtures, irrigation, LPG and gas systems, under-floor draining systems and multi-stack systems. The course also includes heated and cold water, fire suppression systems, roofing and guttering, storm water drainage systems, and the fundamentals of communication skills and safety requirements.

    Certificate III in Plumbing (CPC32420)
    The course covers heated and cold water, fire suppression systems, roofing and guttering, storm water drainage systems as well as communication skills and safety requirements. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 43 core units and 15 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
