Entry Recommendations
If you do not have relevant qualifications or industry experience, you will be enrolled into a Certificate IV in Information Technology (Programming) before starting this course.

Attendance Requirements (subject to change)
Full time study is around 20 hours of class time a week with 15 to 20 hours of self directed study. Part time study time depends on the units selected.

Industry Conditions and Skills
If you are studying online, you will need a webcam and the hardware to run the class resources. We recommend the following as the minimum needed; Intel i5 CPU or equivalent AMD, 16GB of RAM, 1Tb SSD, internet access, webcam, headset with microphone.

    This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a wide range of general information and communications technology (ICT) technologies and practices in different organisational contexts. The focus of the course is on programming. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 7 core units and 13 elective units.

    This course covers the skills and knowledge to be competent in programming and software development. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 6 core units and 14 elective units.
