    This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to design, build and manage websites as an independent web developer or as part of a team. Possible job roles include web developer, web development manager, web programmer, website manager, webmaster, web administrator, internet developer.

    This course covers the whole life cycle for commercially ready websites. Back-end web development zeroes in on the server-side elements of a webpage – such as the scripting, databases, and general architectural features that keep it up and running. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 6 core units and 14 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
