Description

Become a draftsperson with the skills to work in a building design or architecture practice. With this nationally recognised qualification, you’ll be there supporting the building designers and architects. As a draftsperson you will be able to produce building drawings and documentation; you’ll also be skilled in using CAD software to draft and document designs for a variety of building projects.

  • Free Autodesk Student Licence is available on course registration for Revit and AutoCAD.

    This qualification covers materials, compliance, software and files, structural integrity, transposing information, concept drawings and design drawings. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 7 core units and 3 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
