Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology

Skills covered include workplace safety, basic electrical circuits, batteries and jump-starting, charging systems, starting systems, marine engines, controls and instruments, marine electrical systems, engine science and maintaining tools and equipment. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 11 core units and 19 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
