Do you know your trucks? Are you keen to work in heavy commercial mechanics and become a heavy commercial technician? This is the apprenticeship you need to get you started in servicing, maintenance, and repair of heavy commercial vehicles. Through a hands-on approach you’ll gain the skills and knowledge required to work on heavy commercial vehicles within the automotive service and repair sector.     This course covers skills and knowledge in engines, electrical and electronic engine control systems, transmissions, steering and suspension, brake systems, turbocharging and emission control. 22 core units plus 14 electives.
