Industry Conditions and Skills
Personal trainers work independently to meet the needs of individual clients. It is likely that employers in the fitness industry will expect graduates to be at least 18 years of age in order to employ them.

    Certificate IV in Fitness (SIS40221)
    This course covers functional movement, exercise science, personal training (for individuals and groups), providing motivation, long term and endurance training programs, business and collaboration with allied health professionals. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 10 core units and 7 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
