Entry Recommendations
If you have completed the Certificate III in Beauty Services a number of units will be credited towards your Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

Attendance Requirements (subject to change)
Clusters 1, 2 and 3 can be studied over 1, 2 or 3 days a week. The remaining 4 clusters must be studied 2 days a week and Clusters 4 and 5 must be completed before Clusters 6 and 7 can be commenced. Attendance is from 9.00am to 5.00pm on campus. All units must be completed in each stage in the semester of study.

Industry Conditions and Skills
We recommend that you are interested in working with people, have good communication skills and a reasonable level of fitness to stand for long periods.

    This qualification reflects the role of individuals employed as beauty therapists to provide a broad range of beauty therapy treatments and services including facial treatments, body massage and treatments, hair removal, lash and brow treatments, nail and make-up services. This includes consultation with clients to provide beauty advice, recommend beauty treatments and services, and sell retail skin-care and cosmetic products.

    Discover your passion for beauty therapy with the Diploma. Through this course you’ll learn a range of salon treatments including micro-dermabrasion, facial treatments, stone therapy and body massage. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 20 core units and 9 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
