Entry Recommendations
An interest in the travel and tourism industry is recommended. Completion of the Certificate III in Travel or Tourism in not compulsory but can be useful and will gain you credit towards this course. This course offers a study pathway to the Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management with 1 year of credit.

Attendance Requirements (subject to change)
This course is delivered through a blend of on-campus and online classes with most classes face to face. You will need to attend online and on-campus classes to successfully complete this course. All face to face classes are at Regency campus. Full time students will have on-campus classes 4 days a week from 9.00 to 3.30pm and can complete the course in 12 months. Part time students will have on-campus classes 2 days a week from 9.00 to 3.30pm and can complete this course in 24 months. You are required go to industry excursions which may be linked to assessments and unit completion. Note there are certain competencies that require study on campus. These units include industry software training on SABRE and VTO Ultimate. Students are expected to commit regular weekly time for completion of assessments with specific deadlines.

Skills in Office365 and computing are needed for this course.

    This course provides skills in managing diversity, customer service, managing conflict, finances and budgeting, leadership, business relationships and workplace safety. To complete the qualification, you are required to complete all 13 core units and 10 elective units.
