This qualification reflects vocational outcomes for those performing furniture finishing job roles in a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in the selection of equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

Certificate III in Furniture Finishing

This course covers safety, handling dangerous goods/hazardous substances, communication, teamwork, power tools, measurements and calculations, interpreting plans and estimating/costing. To complete the qualification, you are required to complete all 8 core units and 14 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
