This qualification is intended for assistant design and product development roles in the fashion industry, as well as assistant roles associated with managing fashion product as part of a fashion enterprise. Skills include design and product development, as well as technical production skills to support management and fashion businesses. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 9 core units and 16 elective units.
Bachelor of Creative Arts (Costume Design) - Flinders University
The Bachelor of Creative Arts (Costume Design) is a Flinders University degree offered in collaboration with TAFE SA*. The degree gives you the skills to design patterns and construct costumes as well as giving you knowledge of costumes from different periods of time. You will have the opportunity to apply your practical and research skills in a performance project for either stage or screen.
*Students will enrol concurrently in the Flinders' Bachelor of Creative Arts (Costume Design) and the TAFE SA Diploma of Apparel, Fashion and Textiles [MST50122].
