This course is designed for students that want to excel in the field of visual effects and 3D computer animation for television and cinema or learn advanced skills required of artists in game development. Students specialising in Visual Effects and CGI are taught various aspects of the movie and television making process so that they understand where computer generated imagery fits in the workflow of a production. Students specialising in Game Art specialise in environment creation as modellers and texture artists and develop a broad knowledge of the game development process. Particular emphasis is placed on modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, and game engines with a major team production. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 4 core units and 12 elective units.
