Introduction to Enamelling on Jewellery

Description

Learn the craft of vitreous enamelling in a six-week evening course, where you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of enamelling for jewellery making, decorative finishes and basic design principles.

Participants will receive step-by-step guidance in designing and creating a neckpiece and brooch utilising coloured enamels and technical findings.

  • Enamel Preparation & Metal Embossing Wet Packing and Sifting Firing - with Torch and Kiln work Grinding and Finishing
  • Covered shoes, apron or protective clothing, safety glasses, filtered mask are required. There is no assessment for this course.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
