FBPSS00002 - Bread baking for pastry cooks skill set

Description

This skill set provides the basic skills, knowledge and understanding on what it is like to start a career in the bread baking industry.

Students will learn sweet yeast products including croissants and brioche, savoury bread products and artisan bread products including sourdough breads.

A bakers uniform and equipment set must be purchased prior to the course. Approximate cost for uniform is $95 & $299 for equipment. Further information on items required and where to purchase will be sent to students once registration is received.

    Produce specialty flour bread products (FBPRBK3007)

    Produce sweet yeast products (FBPRBK3014)

    Produce artisan bread products (FBPRBK4001)

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.

If you are ineligible for the subsidised fee the full fee cost of $1,501 will apply. Secondary school students are not eligible for the subsidised fee.
