Description

Are you a vocational trainer or assessor looking to develop your skills and knowledge in designing and developing assessment tools, including tools used in formative, summative and recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment?

By completing this course, you will comply with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 – a requirement for all trainers and assessors who deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET) accredited training.
Please note that completion of this short course requires additional homework and assessment outside of class time when studied in a face to face format.

Participants in this course must have completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110).

To obtain the new TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, participants must hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as:
- TAEASS401 Plan assessment activities and processes
- TAEASS403 Participate in assessment validation
-TAEASS502/A/B Design and develop assessment tools and
- TAELLN401A/411 Address adult language literacy and numeracy skills
