TAFE SA 2025 Destination Australia Scholarship Opportunity - Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management

TAFE SA is currently offering four (4) pro-rata scholarships for students to undertake a Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management (CRS1400588) at our Barossa Valley campus:

  • Two (2x) scholarships are valued at AUD$37,500, payable in semester-based instalments over two and a half (2.5) years. This scholarship payments will be issued over five (5x) AUD $7500 instalments.
  • A further two (2x) scholarships are valued at AUD$15,000, payable in semester-based instalments over one (1) year. The scholarship payments will be issued over two (2x) AUD $7500 instalments.

Eligibility for this scholarship is for students that commence in Semester 1, February 2025 only.

Opportunity:

Study a Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management (099074G/CRS1400588) at our Barossa Valley Campus, located in the town of Nuriootpa, approximately an hour’s drive north of Adelaide. Am I eligible for a scholarship?

  • Applicants MUST have completed a current Diploma of Hospitality Management (SIT50416 or SIT50421) or Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (SIT60316) from an Australian RTO **
  • Applicants must be able to commence study in Semester 1, February 2025.
  • Applicants must study on a SC500 student visa.
  • Applicants must reside in the Barossa Valley region for the duration of their study.

** In order to complete the Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management, credit must be able to be allocated to the successful applicants.

Prepare your documents

You will need to meet both the academic entry and the English proficiency requirements for the Bachelor’s degree. To do this, you will need the following.

  • Copies (certified) of your academic transcripts (report card, Diploma of Upper Secondary), any degree and your passport.
  • IELTS / PTE Academic test certificate.
  • Any previous CoE’s
  • Copy of your Resume / CV
  • Scholarship Application Form
  • Signed copy of the FAQ document

About this scholarship

The Destination Australia scholarship is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. It aligns with the National Strategy for International Education 2025. 

The scholarship’s objective is to:

  • attract and support study in regional Australia
  • grow and develop regional Australian tertiary education providers
  • offer students a high-quality learning experience.
