The Kids Kitchen - Growing Gourmets (8 to 12 years)

Description

Join us for some action packed cooking classes for budding chefs of the future.

All classes will involve the preparation of a range of sweet and savoury dishes and will be taught by professional chefs in our world-class training facilities. All prepared food will be available to be taken home, unless consumed beforehand.

Participants in ‘The Kids Kitchen’ will be divided into age groups (numbers permitting) for their classes.

Kids Kitchen usually runs in the first week of the April, July and October school holidays. Enrolments open approximately one month out from the course start date.

  • **Please note some important information that must be adhered to:**

    • ADULTS you are not required to purchase a ticket..

    • No mobile phones are to be used during lesson.

    • ALL children MUST be signed in AND signed out by parent/ guardian in person by the scheduled start and finish time.

    • No additional children or adults please. This includes no prams or any other baby carrier items as it may pose a safety issue within the classroom/kitchen environment.

    • Given the workplace health and safety requirements of our commercial kitchen environment it is important that each registered child has only one accompanying adult per class.

    • Due to WH&S requirements, any child that has additional needs including dietary requirements, disabilities, learning difficulties, special needs of any kind or behaviour concerns, MUST be always accompanied by an adult during the cooking class.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
