This course provides the necessary accreditation for persons wanting to be endorsed in the control of vertebrate pests. The course will cover a range of topics including an overview of vertebrate pests in Australia, animal biology and behaviour, trapping and control techniques, safe handling, legislation, signage, and much more. Assessment will include a short practical assessment onsite and a written assignment to be submitted within 6 weeks of completion of workshop. *Please wear appropriate clothing - Wet weather gear, apron and rubber boots* (Please also bring a change of clothes as you'll be getting dirty) Upon completion, students may be eligible to apply for a Pest Control License.
