This skill set addresses the skills and knowledge required for those who design and deliver e-learning in online and remote learning environments. This skill set is for experienced trainers and assessors who are currently working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as a trainer and assessor. You are required to have access to workplace training and assessment documentation (such as organisational procedures, training materials and training and assessment strategies). These units provide credit towards the TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and other qualifications that allow for selection of these units. You will need to dedicate 10-15 hours per week towards your studies to successfully complete this course. This may vary depending on your digital literacy skills. For organisations that wish to pay the student fees for this course and are unable to pay by credit card via the website, please contact the Short Course team via email at ShortCourses@tafesa.edu.au to organise a Third Party Payment invoice.

Online sessions will be recorded. What is a Virtual Classroom? A virtual classroom is when students learn with a lecturer and other students via web conferencing technology as part of a virtual classroom. Lecturers lead a virtual classroom that is accessed by students in different locations at the same time. TAFE SA currently use Collaborate. You will need access to a computer and the internet for this course or you can use the facilities at your local TAFE SA campus. You do not need to install any software and you can access the classroom from any computer that has an internet connection, or a mobile telephone. You will be provided with the link to the classroom from your lecturer prior to the start date.
