ITS_Network Security Fundamentals

Description

This course introduces you to foundational security knowledge and skills, including an understanding of core security principles operating system security, network and device security, and secure computing practices.

This course is intended for people who want to learn about client operating systems, security applications, firewalls, devices, and network ports.

This course is at a beginner level.

The course is offered in partnership with Prodigy Learning.

  • This course prepares you for the following certification exam: IT Specialist Exam: Network Security

    The Certification exam may be booked through TAFE SA at no additional cost (First attempt only). The exams are conducted only once at the end of every term. The exam may also be booked through Pearson Vue Test Centre located in Adelaide. However you will need to pay for the cost of the certification exam yourself.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
