Cisco_Networking Devices and Initial Configuration

Description

What's it all about?
This course covers the essentials of network devices and how to configure them. You will learn the characteristics and benefits of Cloud and Virtualization technologies. You will explore how to provide Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to devices both manually and automatically. Using this knowledge, you will calculate an IP addressing scheme, configure Cisco devices to create a small network, and test for connectivity issues.

The course is offered in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy.

What you need to know?
Have an understanding of the basics of networking.

  • Core Skills:
    ARP, Cisco IOS, IPv4 Subnetting, DHCP, Hierarchical Network Design, Cisco Devices, Ethernet Operates, Network Layer Protocols, DNS, Binary Systems, Transport Layer Protocols, Virtualization and Cloud Services.
  • This course is at an intermediate level

    Student may complete ONE final theory exam to obtain a Digital Badge
