What's it all about?
The TestOut IT Fundamentals Pro course was designed for students who are interested in Information Technology but have limited technical knowledge of computing systems. We'll explore foundational concepts related to computer hardware and software, networking, databases, programming, Information Systems, and data security. The course includes over 100 hands-on labs to reinforce important concepts. As you perform real-world tasks associated with various IT fields, you'll gain a broad understanding of career options that will help you refine your interests and make vocational choices.

This course prepares the student for the following certification exams:

- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (FC0-U61)
- TestOut IT Fundamentals Pro

CompTIA IT Fundamentals (FC0-U61) certification exam can be booked through Pearson Vue Test Centre located in Adelaide. You will need to pay for the cost of the certification exam yourself.

TestOut IT Fundamentals Pro certification exam may be booked through TAFE SA at no additional cost (First attempt only). The exams are conducted only once at the end of every term.
