Entry Recommendations
This course is for students learning English as another language. You will need an elementary level of English for this course.

Attendance Requirements (subject to change)
Classes for full time students are four hours a day, four days a week. Classes for part-time students are three hours a day, two days a week.

Mandatory Requirements
This course is free for eligible students. To be eligible you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or hold a skilled migrant or bridging visa. You will need to show evidence of your visa when you enrol.

    This course is responsive to individual needs and is taught by teachers with wide experience and specialist skills in this area. This course is designed to assist beginner level migrants (International Second Language Proficiency Rating (ISLPR) entry level 0+ in speaking, listening, reading and writing) for whom English is an additional language, to communicate orally and in writing at a basic level of English. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 4 core units and 6 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
