QUALIFICATION

Certificate II in Cookery [SIT20421]

TAFE SA Code: CP00320

Description

TAFE SA has partnered with the Maggie Beer Foundation to develop a recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment opportunity to recognise the skills of current kitchen staff in aged care settings. We will review what you have learnt through your work and life experience to align this with units of competency (or ‘subjects’ in the qualification).

This RPL opportunity is to receive recognition against units of competency in the SIT20421 Certificate II in Cookery qualification. It is designed for current kitchen staff in aged care settings without any formal cookery qualifications.

The RPL process will combine workplace assessment with a portfolio of evidence that will allow you to demonstrate your skills and knowledge against the requirements of the unit.
