This course meets the minimum prerequisite training requirements set by NAATI for the Certified Provisional Interpreter test and is designed to prepare candidates for this test by providing guidance in interpreting techniques; it does not aim to produce fully trained interpreters. This course is for candidates who are already in (or are well placed to be in) interpreting or language-related roles within a workplace or community. It is highly recommended that students allocate additional time during the week for private study. The course is delivered in English and students are provided with the opportunity to receive language-specific feedback through a sample recording (not for assessment purposes). South Australian State Government funding subsidies apply for this course. Eligibility criteria apply. The full course cost applies for students who are not eligible for State Government funding subsidies.
