FBPSS00003 - Cake and pastry baking for bread bakers skill set

Description

This skill set provides the basic skills, knowledge and understanding on what it is like to start a career in the baking industry.

Students will learn sponge cakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, puddings, biscuits, macarons, pies, sweet tarts, eclairs, croissants, Danish pastry's and brioche.

A bakers uniform and equipment set must be purchased prior to the course. Approximate cost for uniform is $102 & $315 for equipment. Further information on items required and where to purchase will be sent to students once registration is received.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.

If you are ineligible for the subsidised fee the full fee cost of $2309.00 will apply. Secondary school students are not eligible for the subsidised fee.
